Thanks for paying attention to our concerns. In my case the irony is that he assumed I was Jewish since my surname could be confused as such.

Reading this individual's comments and his page he became the first person I blocked on Substack. His posts show the limits of Substacks laissez-faire approach to content moderation.

I appreciate your response! Last night I reported many of his copy & paste posted comments on the Framelab post of Aug. 4. It is a sign of the times that people with ill intent actively look for means of spreading their hatred. We all need to call it out when we see it in order to prevent that malevolence from becoming normalized.

They don't care.

He's prolific.

Outrageous stuff increases traffic. People land here after even twitter bans them.

But they've locked other accounts with no explanation - you can log on, but do absolutely nothing.

Unfortunately it seems his comment being removed also removed mine to which he had responded entirely inappropriately and irrelevantly.

I didn't see a way to report them when they responded to one of my comments. The option was not obvious. Perhaps make it more apparent.
